Description

Designed to improve audio quality while recording video, the Canon DM-E100 Directional Microphone is a shoe-mounted, wired external mic with a 3.5mm plug. The directional design is suitable for a variety of recording applications and a windscreen is included to reduce wind noise when working in noisier and outdoor environments.

Pros

Plug-and-play simplicity: The Canon DM-E100 Directional Microphone is powered directly by your camera’s 3.5mm audio jack, so it doesn’t require its own battery. This makes it easy to use for run-and-gun shooting without worrying about a separate power source.
Compact and lightweight: At just 64g, the microphone is small and portable. It won’t add much bulk to your camera setup, making it easy to carry around.
Better than a built-in mic: The microphone’s 120° unidirectional stereo pickup will provide a noticeable improvement in sound quality over your camera’s internal microphone.
Includes windscreen: A windscreen is included to help reduce wind noise when recording outdoors.
Budget-friendly: The DM-E100 is considerably more affordable than premium on-camera microphones like the
RØDE VideoMic Pro

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I ordered 2 Ipad Air M3 2025, I messaged them with a questions 3 hours BEFORE they opened (I'm in the East Coast) they surprised me by answering almost immediately and then following up with a call to address my question, then messaged me that it will be shipped out today and I got a free 2 day upgrade, that is service! I recommend them 100%, lets keep businesses like them open instead of going out and supporting giant box stores. Thank you all for your help!!!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nice little camera shop, well worth going to, knowledgeable staff, willing let me find the right camera for my needs, their deals are on par with major players but with personal touch. If you’re in the market it is worth a stop. With aloha.
