Utilizing the DJI RS stabilization algorithm for enhanced performance, it weighs just 2 lb and provides up to 13 hours of smooth video capture with its built-in 3100mAh battery. The gimbal is further supported by a detachable extended grip/tripod for added versatility.

DJI RS Intelligent Tracking Module

Easily track your subjects when using an RS 4 series handheld gimbal stabilizer with the DJI RS Intelligent Tracking Module. The compact module snaps onto your RS 4 series gimbal using a magnetic mount and securely locks into place. It is designed to work with the gimbal’s ActiveTrack technology for one-tap intelligent tracking and framing of human subjects from up to 32.8′ away.

The tracking module can be controlled using the gimbal or by using hand gestures. You can start/stop tracking or enable different modes, such as orbit mode, POV/selfie mode, or backward tracking shots. It can easily distinguish your subject when in a scene with multiple people, so you can follow a subject through complex scenarios.

Mount a Camera or Smartphone

The RS 4 Mini supports a 4.4 lb payload, making it ideal for mirrorless setups like the Sony a7 series with a 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens or vLog cameras like the Sony ZV series. It maintains smooth camera movements even when paired with DJI Mic series microphones, fill lights, and other accessories. Additionally, the new Phone Holder allows for quick conversion into a smartphone stabilizer.Quick Auto-Axis Locks

The Gimbal features auto-axis locks, previously found on DJI’s flagship gimbals, enabling the three axes to unlock automatically upon power-on and lock upon power-off or sleep. This streamlines filming, transitions, and storage. The upgraded storage structure allows the axis arms to fold flatter, saving space, while the automated locks ensure quick and easy storage with the press of a button, making it highly portable.

Fast Vertical Switch

The RS 4 Mini enables the fastest horizontal-to-vertical switch in the RS series. Simply loosen and press the single-side knob, remove the horizontal plate, rotate it 90°, and tighten it back in place—all in about 10 seconds. This quick transition makes it ideal for capturing vertical videos for social media.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1740189731554{margin-top: 20px !important;border-top-width: 20px !important;padding-top: 20px !important

Easy Balancing

Upgraded with Teflon interlayers, this gimbal reduces friction for smoother balancing. A fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis enables precise, millimeter-level adjustments, while the upper quick release plate features three positioning slots for flexible installation. These enhancements allow for more balancing space and quick repositioning without disrupting stability.

Wireless Recording and Zoom

With Bluetooth pairing, recording can be started or stopped directly via the gimbal’s record button, eliminating the need for a cable release. The new zoom control function allows seamless operation of Power Zoom for PZ lenses and Clear Image Zoom using just the joystick, making one-handed control effortless. Once paired, the camera reconnects automatically for a hassle-free experience.Upgraded UI

The upgraded OLED touchscreen offers clearer icons and smoother performance, with new gimbal status prompts for better usability. Parameter adjustments are more precise with direct fine-tuning via the front dial. The touchscreen auto-lock feature prevents accidental touches while displaying gimbal and joystick modes at low brightness to conserve battery power.

Intelligent Tracking and Composition

The RS Intelligent Tracking Module is a versatile accessory that enhances follow-filming and composition, keeping subjects consistently framed. Ideal for orbit shots, backward tracking, and solo filming, it supports tracking up to 32.8′ and remains reliable in complex scenes. Even if the subject leaves the frame, the gimbal can reacquire and follow them. The module attaches securely to the tilt axis via a magnetic quick-release design.Shooting Modes

The RS 4 Mini can switch between a variety of shooting modes:

• Responsive mode: Use hand gestures to start/stop, suitable for creating fast orbit shots.
• Smooth follow mode: For smoothing out follow shots and parallel tracking.
• Horizontal mode and a vertical view for social media without the need for additional accessories.
• Upright mode: Standard mode for walking or running shots.
• Underslung mode: The gimbal flips so your camera hangs for low-angle and tracking shots.
• Flashlight mode: The camera can be held forward like a flashlight to shoot in confined spaces.
• Briefcase mode: This makes it easier for low-angle shots using the optional briefcase handle.

Stabilization and Battery Life

The upgraded 4th-gen RS Stabilization algorithm enhances performance by balancing stabilization strength with camera movement feel. It offers improved stability for vertical shots, steadying dynamic scenes like running or low-angle perspectives. The gimbal is optimized to automatically calibrate motor strength to suit different cameras and scenarios.

The built-in extended-life battery lasts 30% longer than previous models, providing up to 13 hours of operation. It supports fast charging, with 5 hours of use after just 30 minutes of charging and a full charge in under two hours using the USB-C cable.

The optional briefcase handle accessory reduces size by 20% and weight by 12%, making low-angle handheld filming easier and more comfortable.

Briefcase Handle Accessory

The new briefcase handle is an optional accessory designed specifically for the RS 4 Mini, reducing the size by about 20% and the weight by about 12%, making low-angle handheld filming more effortless.
