Description

The DZOFilm VESPID 40mm T2.1 Cine Lens is a compact and lightweight option designed for high-end full-frame cinematography. With an 80mm front diameter, it is compatible with virtually any cine-style matte box. Its small size makes it ideal for use with drones, gimbals, handheld shooting, and run-and-gun setups.

The lens features an interchangeable PL mount and includes a Canon EF mount, offering compatibility with cameras that use PL or EF mounts. The lens provides full-frame coverage with a 46.5mm image circle, ensuring use on sensors up to full-frame without vignetting. The 16-blade iris, consistent across the VESPID prime lens series, creates smooth, round out-of-focus highlights that contribute to the lens’s natural-looking bokeh.

The focus ring offers 270° of rotation for precise focus pulls, while the iris ring provides 64° of rotation for smooth and controlled aperture adjustments. The lens also includes a magnetically attached rear filter for easy swapping of ND filters, allowing for flexible exposure control without affecting the iris or depth of field.

The DZOFilm VESPID 40mm T2.1 Lens covers a full-frame sensor and provides a tighter shot on Super35 cameras. It features an interchangeable PL mount with an included EF mount, making it versatile for various cine cameras. The lens delivers an organic look that blends modern precision with vintage aesthetics, while coated optics enhance contrast and minimize glare.

A 16-blade iris ensures smooth, natural bokeh, and its compact design maintains a consistent 80mm front diameter with common gear positions for quick lens changes. The lens includes a magnetically attached rear ND filter option, a 77mm front filter thread for added filtration flexibility, and a minimum focusing distance of 12″ for close-up shots.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I ordered 2 Ipad Air M3 2025, I messaged them with a questions 3 hours BEFORE they opened (I'm in the East Coast) they surprised me by answering almost immediately and then following up with a call to address my question, then messaged me that it will be shipped out today and I got a free 2 day upgrade, that is service! I recommend them 100%, lets keep businesses like them open instead of going out and supporting giant box stores. Thank you all for your help!!!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nice little camera shop, well worth going to, knowledgeable staff, willing let me find the right camera for my needs, their deals are on par with major players but with personal touch. If you’re in the market it is worth a stop. With aloha.
