OBSBOT Tail 2 AI-Powered PTZR 4K Live Production Camera

Smart Tracking with AI Precision

The OBSBOT Tail 2 is a compact 4K AI PTZ camera built for creators who want speed and control. Using advanced AI tracking, it automatically follows people, pets, or objects with smooth and accurate motion. The camera’s “Only Me” mode keeps one subject centered, while Group Tracking adjusts framing automatically for multiple people. These intelligent tools make the OBSBOT Tail 2 a strong choice for solo shooting, vlogging, and live events.

Fast Focus and Smooth Zoom Control

Autofocus on the Tail 2 locks instantly onto moving subjects, and its 5x optical plus 12x hybrid zoom keeps details sharp. You can start or adjust tracking through the Obsbot Start app with a simple tap. Transition words aside, this workflow reduces setup time and improves shot consistency. The result is fast, fluid footage without the need for constant manual control.

Creative Movement and Framing Options

This AI tracking camera supports flexible axis movement for precise pan and tilt operation. Each axis can be tuned individually for cinematic motion. Auto Framing adapts zoom levels to maintain balanced composition, while on-screen guides help creators frame consistently. The system gives professional results even in small production setups.

Full Connectivity for Flexible Production

Designed to fit modern workflows, the Tail 2 includes HDMI, 3G-SDI, and USB-C outputs, plus IP streaming capability. Microphone and line inputs, RS-232 control, and a microSD slot expand compatibility with external gear. With a 5000mAh battery offering up to five hours of continuous operation, it’s reliable on location or in studio.

Wireless Control and Ecosystem Support

Dual Wi-Fi 6 antennas ensure stable, low-latency wireless connections. Gesture controls make it easy to zoom, start recording, or enable AI tracking hands-free. The camera integrates with the OBSBOT ecosystem, including Obsbot Live and Obsbot Center, for multi-camera coordination. Together, these tools simplify complex live productions and elevate stream quality.

The OBSBOT Tail 2 delivers creative freedom, precise motion, and intelligent automation in a portable form. It combines the reliability of a professional PTZ camera with the innovation of smart AI tracking to help content creators work faster and smarter.
