PolarPro Basecamp Matte Box Kit

The Basecamp Matte Box Kit from PolarPro is a lightweight and compact matte box system built for drone and aerial cinematography. Designed for both efficiency and portability, it features filters with integrated frames that allow for quick, toolless installation.

This kit includes a Variable ND 2–5 stop filter and a circular polarizer. Together, they give filmmakers precise control over exposure, glare, and reflections. Additionally, the system supports a wide range of lenses. It includes clamp rings for 80mm, 87mm, 95mm, 100mm, 104mm, and 110mm diameters. It also comes with adapter plates for lenses with 77mm or 82mm front threads.

To further enhance light control, the included top flag helps block overhead glare and reduce harsh reflections. This improves image quality in bright or unpredictable lighting conditions.

For transport and care, the kit includes a soft carrying case and a microfiber cleaning cloth. You can also mount the matte box on a 15mm LWS rod system using an optional adapter (sold separately). This makes it a flexible choice for a variety of production setups.
