The SmallHD INDIE 5 offers professional-grade monitoring in a compact and lightweight form, making it ideal for run-and-gun setups or tight rig configurations. This 5″ on-camera monitor features a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen LCD with 10-bit 4:2:2 Rec. 709 color processing, 1000 cd/m² brightness, and 1000:1 contrast ratio—providing sharp, color-accurate visuals even in bright daylight.

Equipped with HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, the INDIE 5 integrates easily with both cinema and mirrorless camera systems. It is powered via a DC barrel input and includes a physical touchscreen lock slider to prevent accidental screen inputs during operation.

The INDIE 5 runs on SmallHD’s PageOS 5 operating system, offering a robust suite of tools such as EL Zone Exposure Assist, waveform, vectorscope, false color, peaking, pixel zoom, and customizable page layouts. The system supports loading 3D LUTs via SD card and offers optional RED camera control through its micro-USB port.

Built with a durable aluminum housing, the INDIE 5 is designed to withstand the demands of field production.
