The SmallHD ULTRA 5 is a compact and powerful monitor designed for high-end productions. With a 5-inch touchscreen LCD and Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, it delivers crystal-clear images. Its 3000 cd/m² brightness ensures excellent visibility, even in direct sunlight.

In terms of color, the monitor supports 10-bit 4:2:2 Rec. 709 and covers the DCI-P3 gamut. This makes it perfect for accurate image assessment, focus pulling, and professional monitoring—whether on set or in the field.

Moreover, the ULTRA 5 is built for flexibility. It offers HDMI and 3G-SDI input/output, along with camera control capabilities. Physical buttons make it easy to operate, especially when wearing gloves or working in cold conditions.

For advanced workflows, the monitor includes a 5-pin USB port for RED camera control and an Ethernet port for ARRI and Sony VENICE control. (Note: Camera control licenses are sold separately.)

It runs on PageOS 5, SmallHD’s advanced monitoring platform. As a result, users get access to professional tools such as waveform, false color, EL Zone exposure, LUT support, and Teradek RT overlays—all via an intuitive interface.

The ULTRA 5 is also designed to be durable and versatile. Its aluminum housing features four 1/4″-20 mounting threads, allowing for easy integration into compact rigs, handheld setups, or gimbals. Additionally, it powers via a 2-pin LEMO input and supports accessories like SD cards for LUT loading and audio monitoring.
